WE ARE NEW MYTHS
New Myths are a Brooklyn-formed new wave rock/pop power trio blending grit with vocal harmonies. Think Garbage meets L7 with a hint of Siouxsie and The Go-Gos—served loud and unapologetically.
Formed by Brit Boras (guitar/lead vocals), Rosie Slater (drums/vocals), and Marina Ross (bass/vocals), New Myths broke onto the scene in 2012 with their debut self-titled EP—catching the ear of Lou Reed, who featured their song “False Gold” on his XM radio show. Since then, they've released their full-length album Give Me Noise and EP All The Shiny Things, all while earning love from The New York Times and The Guardian, and sharing the stage with artists such as Metric, Warpaint, Crazytown, The Joy Formidable, and Cindy Wilson (The B-52s).
Now, New Myths are back with their upcoming album When I Say Go, dropping in 2026 on Substitute Scene Records. When they say go—you better be ready.
